Serrano Cherry Jam


Ingredients:

16 cups Cherries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup Serrano Peppers (seeded minced) 
4 cups Sugar
¼ cup Olive Oil
4 cups Water
1 box Mrs. Wages® Fruit Pectin Home Jell®

Preparation:

1. In a large pot on high heat pour the olive oil in and bring to almost smoke point.
2. Add the minced Serrano peppers and blister.
3. Add the cherries and the sugar, reduce the heat then pour in the water then bring to a simmer to dissolve the sugar.
4. Add the Mrs. Wages® Fruit Pectin Home Jell® and continue to cook for 15 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and portion into 16-ounce containers or freezer safe zip loc bags.

Yields: 8 pints
