Apple-Spiced Bacon Biscuits

1Preheat oven to 450°F.
2In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Cool; chop or crumble.
3In large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the Mrs. Wages® Spiced Applesauce and bacon until just combined.
4Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead 10-12 times. Press dough into a 10-in. circle. Cut into 12 wedges. Place 1 in. apart on an ungreased baking sheet. In a small bowl combine melted butter and Mrs. Wages® Spiced Apple Mix; brush over wedges.
5Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
Cook’s Note: Make the applesauce from fresh apples and Mrs. Wages® Spiced Apple Mix or buy prepared applesauce at the store to save time.
