Chopped Apple Salad

Ingredients

5 small Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped into ½-in. cubes

1 heart romaine lettuce, chopped

2 cups (3 oz) baby spinach

1 cup chopped pecans

1 container (5 oz) reduced fat blue cheese crumbles

1/4 cup dried cranberries

3/4 cup prepared Mrs. Wages® Spiced Applesauce

3/4 cup raspberry vinaigrette or other fruit based vinaigrette dressing

Directions

1In a large serving bowl, combine the apples, lettuce, spinach, pecans, cheese and cranberries.

2In a small bowl, whisk the prepared Mrs. Wages® Spiced Applesauce and raspberry vinaigrette. Pour over salad; toss gently to coat.

Cook’s Note: Make the applesauce from fresh apples and Mrs. Wages® Spiced Apple Mix or buy prepared applesauce at the store to save time.
