Spiced Pumpkin Cranberry Oatmeal | Mrs. Wages


2 ½ cups water

2 cups 2% milk

1 3/4 cups prepared Mrs. Wages® Pumpkin Pie Filling

1 cup steel-cut oats

1 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup butter pecan syrup

1/2 tsp salt

Chopped pecans, optional


1In a large slow cooker, combine the water, milk, prepared Mrs. Wages® Pumpkin Pie Filling, oats, cranberries, sugar, syrup and salt.  Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until oats are tender.  Serve with pecans, if desired.

Cook’s Note: Make the pumpkin pie filling from fresh pie pumpkins and Mrs. Wages® Pumpkin Pie Filling Spice Mix or buy prepared pumpkin pie filling at the store to save time.
