Apple Glazed Chicken


1In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, pepper and salt. Coat chicken in flour mixture.

2In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Brown the chicken on all sides. Remove and keep warm.

3In a large bowl, combine the jelly, Mrs. Wages® Spiced Apple Mix, lemon juice, parsley and stir in apples.

4Add mixture and chicken to skillet. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until juices run clear, turning once.


1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp salt

2 Tbsp olive oil

1 (3 to 3-1/2 lbs) chicken, cut up

1 cup apple jelly

1/4 cup Mrs. Wages® Spiced Apple Mix

1 Tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp parsley flakes

3 medium red apples, cored and cut into 1/2-inch slices
