Chicken Parmesan Pasta Skillet dish recipe

Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp olive oil

1 quart prepared Mrs. Wages® pasta sauce

2 cups uncooked rotini pasta

1 1/2 cups water

1 0/1 petite diced tomatoes

1 0/1 sliced mushrooms, drained

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

parsley for garnish

Directions

1Sprinkle chicken with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

2In a 12-inch skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook 3-4 minutes until done, stirring occasionally. Once fully cooked, remove chicken from skillet, cover and keep warm.

3Stir the pasta sauce, rotini, water, tomatoes and mushrooms in the skillet and bring to a boil.

4Reduce the heat to medium, cover and cook for 10-12 minutes or until the rotini is tender, stirring occasionally.

5Stir in the cooked chicken. Sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes to melt cheese. Garnish as desired.
