Horseradish Roasted Garlic Prime Rib with Horseradish Dipping Sauce

Directions

Prime Rib

1Preheat oven to 225 deg F.

2Rub standing rib roast with Mrs. Wages® Quick Process® Horseradish Roasted Garlic Pickle Mix, coating the outside of the roast evenly. Add optional fresh chopped thyme and rosemary and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

3Place standing rib roast on a roasting pan in the oven, uncovered, fat side up. Cook for 3 hours (or until meat reaches an internal temperature of 120 deg F). Remove from oven and let rest uncovered on roasting pan for 15 minutes.

4Turn oven to broil or highest setting. Replace the standing rib roast in the oven and cook for an additional 10 minutes, until outer surface of the roast is sizzling and internal temperature reaches 145 deg F.

5Remove from the oven and let rest an additional 15 minutes before slicing.

6Slice in ½ inch thick slices and serve with horseradish sauce and enjoy!

7*Follow safe handling practices and cook meat thoroughly.

Dipping Sauce

1Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine. Mix until smooth, about 1 minute.

2Place in refrigerator for 1 hour while prime rib cooks.

3Serve on prime rib slices and enjoy!

4 lbs Standing Rib Roast*

1 1/2 tbsp Mrs. Wages® Quick Process® Horseradish Roasted Garlic Pickle Mix

1 tsp Fresh Thyme, chopped (optional)

1 tsp Fresh Rosemary, chopped (optional)

Dipping Sauce

1/2 cup Sour Cream

1/4 cup Mayonnaise

2 tsp White Vinegar

2 tbsp Prepared Horseradish, drained

1 1/2 tsp Mrs. Wages® Quick Process® Horseradish Roasted Garlic Pickle Mix
