Directions

Preheat oven to 350 deg F.

Cube uncooked bacon into ½”x ½” pieces and place in a cold, medium saucepan. Turn heat to medium and cook bacon until crispy (about 15 minutes). Remove bacon from sauce pan and place in a container to the side and remove pan from heat. Keep the bacon grease in the pot.

Dice onion and pepper; add to the pot with hot bacon grease. Replace saucepan on the stove at medium heat.

Add dry spices and cook for 5 minutes, mixing periodically.

To the hot pan, add the pasta, Mrs. Wages® Tomato Soup, can of diced tomatoes, and turn stove to high to bring to a boil, mixing regularly.

Boil pasta for 6-7 minutes (or 1 to 2 minutes less than packaged instructions for “al dente”).

Transfer entire mixture to a greased 9x13” casserole dish and spread evenly.

Top with mozzarella cheese distributed evenly and place in oven. Bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Optional: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

Serve and enjoy!
