Chili
This chili recipe uses Mrs. Wages® Chili Mix to create a warming dish perfect for colder weather.
Directions
Take a large stainless steel pot and melt the butter over medium high heat.
Add the ground pork and ground beef and brown. Before the meat is completely browned, add oregano, garlic, onion, and peppers.
Cook the mixture until the meat is browned and the vegetables are partially cooked.
Add the salt, pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Stir well.
Add the Mrs. Wages® Chili base, beans (including liquids), and the crushed tomatoes. Stir well to combine.
Bring mixture to a boil and then simmer uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes.
Can be served with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.
