Upside Down Sausage Pizza Casserole
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a medium bowl, combine biscuit mix and milk until just moistened; set aside
In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium high heat for 6-7 minutes or until no longer pink; drain fat. Stir in 1 cup prepared Mrs. Wages® Pizza Sauce; heat through.
Spread remaining prepared Mrs. Wages® Pizza Sauce onto the bottom of an 8-in. x 8-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Top with the onion, mushrooms, green bell pepper and olives. Add sausage mixture; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Pour biscuit mixture evenly over the top.
Bake, uncovered, for 25-28 minutes or until biscuit topping is lightly browned. Let stand for 5 minutes. Top with basil, if desired.
