Fruit Filled Kolaczki

Directions

1In a large bowl, beat the butter, cream cheese, salt and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Divide dough into two portions. Wrap dough in plastic wrap for at least 2 hours or until easy to handle.

2Preheat oven to 350°F.

3Roll dough out to 1/4-in. thickness on a surface that has been dusted with equal parts sugar and confectioners’ sugar (not flour). Cut with a 3-in. round cookie cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheets. Spoon 1 heaping teaspoon prepared Mrs. Wages® jam or jelly onto the center of each.

4Bake for 14-16 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. Cool for 1 minute before removing from pans to wire racks. Dust with confectioners’ sugar.
