1In a large skillet, cook the beef, onion, green pepper and garlic over medium heat until beef is no longer pink; drain.

2Stir in the next eight ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 15 minutes.

3Serve on buns.


1 lb lean ground beef

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped green pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

3/4 cup prepared Mrs. Wages® ketchup

1 Tbsp brown sugar

1 Tbsp red wine vinegar

1 Tbsp tomato paste

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp chili powder

1/4 tsp pepper

6 whole wheat hamburger buns, split
