Cheeseburger Tomato Soup
Directions
Cube uncooked bacon into ½”x ½” pieces and place in a cold, medium saucepan. Turn heat to medium and cook bacon until crispy (about 15 minutes). Remove bacon from sauce pan and place in a container to the side and remove pan from heat. Keep the bacon grease in the pot.
Add ground beef to the pot with hot bacon grease. Replace saucepan on the stove at medium heat. Chopping with a wooden spoon, break up the ground beef to bite sized pieces and cook for 5 minutes, until meat is completely browned, stirring periodically.
Add the diced onions and peppers to the pot with all the spices and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add Mrs. Wages® Tomato Soup to pot and stir to combine. Heat until soup reaches a low boil, about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and ladle into serving bowls. Top with cheddar cheese and saved bacon bits. Serve and enjoy!
